Drawing inspiration from iconic bands such as the Four Seasons, Journey, Led Zeppelin, and Van Halen, Randy has developed a distinct musical style that captivates audiences across various genres. His love for soulful melodies and smooth rhythms can be traced back to the influence of Sade, while his impeccable sense of timing and dynamic playing is a testament to his admiration for legendary drummers like John Bonham, Stewart Copeland, and Buddy Rich. Randy's journey as a musician has been nothing short of extraordinary. Throughout his career, he has been an integral part of several successful bands, including the highly acclaimed OFG. However, it was his brainchild, the Crosstown Classics, that truly solidified his position as a formidable force in the music scene. Steve Mateja is a highly skilled and versatile musician known for his exceptional guitar skills and his ability to seamlessly blend classic rock, Chicago and Memphis style blues, soul, and 70's R&B. With a career spanning over five decades, Steve has cemented his place in the music industry as a true maestro of his craft. Drawing inspiration from legendary guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Schenker, Hubert Sumlin, and Neal Schon, Steve has developed a unique and dynamic sound that captivates audiences and leaves them craving for more. His ability to effortlessly transition between genres and styles sets him apart from the rest, showcasing his versatility and adaptability as an artist. Throughout his illustrious career, Steve has achieved numerous accomplishments that have solidified his status as a respected musician. As the lead guitarist in Angela's Pants, Seven Souls, and the current project, Crosstown Classics, he has consistently delivered electrifying performances and contributed to the success of these esteemed bands. With Crosstown Classics, Steve continues to push the boundaries of his musical artistry, captivating listeners with their soulful and energetic performances. Bill "The Piston" Kappas
Bill is an accomplished bassist with over 35 years of experience. He has been in or filled in for numerous bands. His playing style lends itself to classic rock, 80's music, 90's music, modern rock, and both country and western. Influenced by Adam Clayton, Flea, Bill Wyman, Stanley Clark and Nathan East, Bill brings a solid bass groove to the music that Crosstown Classics plays. Bill has played most of the major venues in the greater Chicago land area as well as numerous corporate events, the Democratic National Convention, The Indiana State Fair, The Illinois State Fair, Summer Fest, The Little 500 at Indiana University-Bloomington, Sage Software National Convention, events at Purdue University and Notre Dame University. Previous noteworthy bands were Tulsa, The Nice, Ever After, Dillinger, The Atari Age, Never Expected and Late Night FM. His nickname in high school was "The Piston".

Maggie Follis
Maggie Follis is a versatile and dynamic musician who has established herself as a powerhouse vocalist in the music industry. With a wide range of musical styles under her belt, including rock, classic rock, blues, soul, funk, country, and pop, Maggie captivates audiences with her raw talent and captivating stage presence. Influenced by legends such as Janis Joplin, Koko Taylor, Tina Turner, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Cher, and The Temptations, Maggie has honed her craft and developed a unique sound that combines elements of these iconic artists while still maintaining her own distinct style. Currently, Maggie Follis is working on an exciting new project called Crosstown Classics. With this endeavor, she aims to bring her diverse musical influences to the forefront and create a fusion of genres that will captivate audiences of all backgrounds.

Ashley Matza-Wambaja
Ashley is a rising star in the world of pop punk, blending the emotional intensity of emo with the catchy hooks of pop, creating a sound all her own. Influenced by iconic acts like Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, and the ultimate princess of pop, Britney Spears, Ashley's music captures both the raw energy of punk and the infectious melodies of pop music. Though Ashley’s roots are in classical music as a trained pianist, her early experiences in school choir and musical theater provided her with a strong foundation in vocal performance and stage presence. It wasn’t until years of forced karaoke nights, however, that she truly discovered her voice. Those karaoke sessions became the unlikely foundation for her unique singing style—fusing the heartfelt angst of emo with the exuberance of pop. Her debut project, Crosstown Classics, marks a bold new chapter in her musical journey, blending punk energy with pop sensibilities in a way that feels fresh, fun, and authentic. Whether she’s belting out emotionally charged lyrics or channeling the playful spirit of pop, Ashley brings a signature style that is both raw and polished. With her infectious energy and undeniable talent, Ashley is ready to make her mark, and Crosstown Classics is just the beginning of what’s sure to be an exciting musical career.
